2011 Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Gala

Cystic Fibrosis is an inherited chronic disease that affects about 30,000 children and adults in the United States. The disease causes life-threatening lung infections and decreases the median age of survival to the mid-30s. With the help of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, newly developed medical treatments can extend the life of a person living with CF to their 40s and even longer. Events such as the Martinis and Movies Gala hosted by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation on February 19, 2011 are the driving force to help find a cure for this terrible disease. Thank you to the foundation, supporters, and volunteers for allowing me to photograph such a fun and cause-worthy event!
